Sweet Potato Couple Spotted In Apgujung!

SNSD’s Seohyun and CNBLUE’s Yonghwa were recently spotted in the streets of Apgujung. Unfortunately they were not out on a secret date, but instead they were filming for MBC’s “We Got Married.” Fans noticed how they matched in light-colored clothing and also commented on how they seemed to have gotten closer.

Goo Hye Sun Stored F4 Photos In Her Cellphone

Goo Hye Sun, who has been active more as a director than actress these days, has said she kept unflattering photos of the F4 in her cellphone.

During KBS’s variety/talk show “Win Win!” broadcast on June 8th, Goo Hye Sun displayed her close relationship with drama “Boys over Flowers” F4 members Lee Min Ho, Kim Joon, Kim Bum and Kim Hyun Joong.

On the show, Goo Hye Sun said, “These days, I am still in contact with the F4 members.”  She then added, “When we meet, we will mainly go for a drinking session and have gopchang (grilled intestines) along with some yeomtong (grilled ox heart).” She then went on, “I will sometimes take photos of the F4 when they get drunk and store the photos inside my cellphone,” surprising the other guests on the show.

Goo Hye Sun said that Kim Joon was the poorest drinker among them, and that she kept a photograph of him when he was in an intense and deep sleep due to his drunkenness. After taking the photos, she said to Kim Joon, “Before I upload the photos to the internet, please come along with a billion won,” disclosing a bit of playful blackmail.

Rain Denies Rumors of Dating Jeon Ji-hyeon

Despite the rumors that have been linking two of Korea’s hottest stars, the official word is out that these rumors are indeed false. Top star, Rain, has spoken out saying that he is not dating one of the popular actress, Jeon Ji-hyeon. ?They were originally supposed to star in the drama “The Fugitive” together, but plans fell through. Jeon was since replaced with actress, Lee Na-young.

Rain’s representative company, JTune Entertainment, released an official statement saying that though the two stars are close, they are not romantically involved.

One media source had reported on the 10th, that Rain and Jeon started dating around late May.There were also recently pictures of Rain supposedly going into Jeon Ji-hyeon’s home in Samsung-dong of Seoul. Rain’s rep cleared the air by saying that he was visiting another friend, but the photo was presented in a way to make it seem like he was visiting Jeon. He also denied the related rumors of a family ring being distorted to ring that was symbolic of their love.

JTune Entertainment continued by saying that it’s a shame Rain can’t keep his private life private due to his celebrity status, and that he’s even considering taking legal action against the current rumors.

Sandara Park did a special appearance on KBS 2TV WinWin aired on 8th June when she talked about her 6-year friendship with Goo HyeSun.

Sandara Park said, “When I first came to Korea 6 years ago when I was 20 years old, she had taken good care of me as a friend of same age. I came to Korea for a while during my promotions in the Philippines, and Goo HyeSun had brought me out to places like theme parks to play despite the fact that she was famous. She also guides me a lot.”

Following that, Sandara Park revealed a photo taken with Goo HyeSun 6 years ago, “My image back then was of mischievous kid. And Goo HyeSun was like a princess.”

Sandara Park also revealed, “When Goo HyeSun was starring in Boys Over Flowers, I had wanted to ask her to introduce me to the others, but being introvert, I couldn’t. The others are all so cool..” rousing laughter from the other star appearances.

And about what 2NE1 is doing lately, Sandara Park said, “We have been practising and taking vocal and choreography lessons, and are healthy.”

Bae Yong-joon’s agency denies signing Kim Hyun-joong

Bae Yong-joon’s agency KEYEAST has denied recent rumors that they have signed with singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong.

In a phone call with Asia Economic Daily on Monday, an official at KEYEAST dismissed such reports as “groundless” and said that they “have not signed with Kim Hyun-joong.”

Several media reports had claimed that Kim, whose contract with agency DSP Entertainment expired yesterday, signed an exclusive management contract with Bae’s agency.

Last month, it was reported that Kim and Bae had a private meeting, which some people thought hinted at their future partnership. At the time, DSP downplayed the rumor, saying it was only a personal meeting between Kim and Bae, a close friend and mentor figure to the young star.

There was even talk that the pop idol was likely to sign with an agency which recently signed on three TVXQ members — Hero Jaejoong, Xiah Junsu and Micky Yoochun — who are currently embroiled in a legal battle with major talenthouse SM Entertainment.

Kim, 23, is the leader of boy band SS501, one of the most successful K-pop acts in Asia since their debut in 2005. The singer has also done some acting work, most notably in the smash hit drama “Boys Over Flowers” last year alongside actors Lee Min-ho and Ku Hye-sun.

Joe Chen and Roy Qiu Refuse to Promote New Drama Together

Three months ago, Joe Chen Qiao En broke up with Roy Qiu, the second leading male actor in Easy Fortune Happy Life and her costar in the mainland drama The Girl in Blue. Since then, because the relationship ended badly due to opposing personalities between the two, Joe Chen and Roy Qiu have not stayed in contact with each other. The Girl in Blue will soon be broadcasted on television; however, during promotions for the drama, only Roy Qiu appeared which caused promotions to be very difficult as there was not enough to discuss.

Yesterday, producer He Xiu Qiong expressed that she had heard about the news between Joe and Roy. She added that because Joe Chen was unable to take out even one day for promotions of the drama within the 16-day promotion period, there was no doubt that the outside world would speculate that Joe did not want to be on the same stage as Roy.

Currently, both Joe Chen and Roy Qiu have projects on hand. Nevertheless, Roy worked hard to move around his schedule in order to promote the drama. After receiving news about the promotion schedule, Roy immediately alerted his production crew in Xiamen and took a leave of absence in order to fly back to Beijing for The Girl in Blue promotions. Roy Qiu’s agent said that because Roy wanted to have success with the drama, he decided to promote the show to the best of his abilities. When asked whether Joe Chen and Roy Qiu ended the relationship on poor terms, Qiu’s agent said, “I’m not sure whether they are still friends.”

On the other hand, Joe Chen’s agent expressed that the relationship between the two did not affect promotions for The Girl in Blue. The actual reason why Joe Chen was not able to attend was because she was pressed to finish filming 《春光燦爛豬九妹》 for the Shanghai TV Festival and Film Festival.

Goo Hye Sun wants Big Bang’s T.O.P for her next movie

Talented celebrity Goo Hye Sun, who will be releasing her movie Magic which she directed, has showed interest in casting Big Bang member T.O.P for her next work.

During a recent interview, the beautiful actress said regarding T.O.P’s first movie appearance, “I have more interest in the movie 71-Into the Fire because same “family” (YG Entertainment) member T.O.P will be making an appearance. I am so curious to see whether or not T.O.P acted well in the movie.”

In addition, Goo Hye Sun continued by revealing some interesting facts about the handsome Big Bang member as she said, “T.O.P usually does not speak much and has a quiet personality, but he became much brighter after filming for the movie. He was a person who purposely answered with minimal words, but now he even sends continual text messages,” explaining how T.O.P was changed by the movie.

Goo Hye Sun also made a cute statement as she smiled and said, “I’ll have to think about placing T.O.P in my next movie after watching his current movie. I’ll ask our CEO Yang Hyun Suk for the acting fee and try to have T.O.P in it for free.”

Arashi are Double DVD First Week Sales Champions as “Singers” and “Actors”

With the sales of Fuji TV’s “Saigo no Yakusoku” (released on the 2nd), a New Year drama special DVD starring popular group Arashi, at 126,000 copies within its first week of release, they have achieved first place in the comprehensive DVD sales for the week of 6/14. Not only it is the first time a drama-related product has broken through the 100,000 copies mark in its first week, it is also the highest first week sales ever recorded in the history of drama DVDs.

This product has sold almost three times as much as the previous first week sales record for drama DVDs of 41,000 copies, held by “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (First Season) Vol. 1” (released in January of 2009). The current accumulative sales record of 75,000 copies for domestic drama DVDs by “ROOKIES Omote BOX” (released in July of 2008) was also surpassed in one mere week.

With the addition of this record to their concert DVD, “ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5×10” (released in April), also recording the highest first week sales in the history of music DVD releases with 470,000 copies sold (accumulative sales at 682,000 copies), Arashi has become double first week sales champions in both the “music DVD category” and “drama DVD category”. These results have once again shown us their tremendous popularity.
